SOL ASUNDER: 'Demodulated' Video Posted Online

October 26, 2008

"Demodulated", the new video from San Francisco, California-based death metallers SOL ASUNDER, can be viewed below. The track comes off the group's forthcoming album, "Mechanize", which will be released via the San Jose-based label Pitch Black Records.

According to the band, "Mechanize" is "a concept album built on themes of technology fused with life. The songs all differ from each other yet conduct an unremitting style of rhythm and melody. As the songs were written, a shape became more evident to the style and we ran with it. Lyrics for this album became a concept of assimilating machinery and nature. Each song is its own examination of this convergence. The song 'Demodulated' suggests words of warning from a stagnant voice only heard encoded within a broken radio signal. The themes are programmed throughout the album, yet left illusive and dormant for the listener to conclude."

SOL ASUNDER is:

Mica "Maniac" - Vocals
Chazz McConnell - Guitar
Nate Vennarucci - Guitar
Sam Zuerner - Bass
Keith Grimshaw - Drums
Brian Kenny - Contributor
